Acer’s new Predator Helios Neo gaming laptops offer RTX 5070 Ti GPUs and lots of ports

(Deep breath) Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Predator Helios NE 18 AI can be configured with Intel core Ultra 9 275HX CPU and RTX 5070 Ti GPU. Each has a port ship and will start from $ 1,899.99 for 16-inch and $ 2,199.99 for 18-inch. 16 launch in the United States (April April (other countries in May) and 18 launch in May (other countries in June).

Both laptops have RGB logos on the lids, lighting with four keyboard zones, up to 64GB of RAM and 2TB storage. In the top configates is 240Hz 2560 x 1600 OLED for a 16-inch model and a 250Hz mini LED of the same resolution for 18-inch. Both laptop sizes have 90WH batteries and Wi-Fi 6E support. Each model comes standard with enough ports to keep you free from the city. There is one port Thunderbolt 4, one USB-C 3,2 gene 2, three USB ports, one HDMI 2.1, 3.5 mm for headphones / mic combined connection and even Ethernet connection. Strange, for such large and thick portable calculations, they have grooves for microSD cards instead of full size. This seems to be the only “micro” thing about these laptops weighing as much as 7.28 pounds.

But the bigger thing you need to be aware is that RTX 5070 TI GPU, Core Ultra 9 CPU -a OLED / MINI LED screens are all optional. At the initial configurations for both sizes you get more modest Core Ultra 7 255hx and RTX 5070. This does not sound terrible, but the basic model screen is only 1920 x 1200.

We came to Acer on the costs of the Hiios Neo Senior Class Configuration, but we did not answer before the publication.
