The new Pebble Smartwatch seems to be on the market as soon as Google is open software.
Fitbit and eventually Google took over the ownership of Pebble OS when a fitness company bought Pebble for $ 23 million (approximately 33 million CAD). Google, of course, bought Fitbit starting in 2019 for $ 2.1 billion (approximately $ 3 billion).
In the trio of posts on Google and the original Eric Migicovsky creator, it was explained that Google made the vast majority of Pebble’s original code available for use. This allowed Migicovsky to re -create a new version of the original smart clock.
He says he started his work at the first gravel in 2008 and still carries his gravel today. However, he wants a new hardware because he says he is not satisfied with the current panels of smart watches and wants a better solution.
His current criteria for the perfect smartwatch always include on the e-tin screen, a long battery duration, a simple user interface, buttons and hacnivity/adjustment.

In the blog post, he says: “Over the years, we have been thinking about making a new smart clock. The product manufacturing for a product like gravel is now easier than 10 years ago. There are many capable factories, and Bluetooth chips are cheaper, stronger and more energy efficient. Challenge. Challenge. has always been a software in his heart.
The Pebbleos version, which Fitbit bought, took about ten engineers for four years to build, so Migicovsky asked friends to have on Google if he would consider opening the software openly and the company agreed. You can find all the gravel on Github.
You can apply to find out more about the potential new clock on the site called Repebble.com. You can also join the Discord channel or follow the SUB/Reddit from the site.
Overall, Migicvovsky seems an extremely dedicated idea to the construction of a new smart clock and what makes it as close as possible to one of the original gravel. I would expect it to be similar to the time of gravel that came out in 2015, but I hope another one will remind you of the gravel time, which has a beautiful hardware.
