If there is one thing that my superior southern grandmother has always held true, it is that it prefers the shape over the function almost every time. Layers of necklaces and bracelets when they start playing tennis? The lipstick for the lipstick was re -applied between the bite for the lunch? Fifth carried on a day touring the city? Yes, yes, and yes.
Therefore, when the appearance of a fitness monitoring watches entered the fold a few years ago, I already knew her opinion on the matter, especially when people decided to wear them even in occasions like weddings and fun. Gently said, she was not a fan.
Now, with the re -establishment of traditional watches 2025, I am happy to see how the pendulum move back to “form over function”, even if the classic watches are still fully functional in their own way. (Just not in the follow -up of steps.)
It turns out that our mothers and grandmothers knew best. It’s time to add the right hour to your accessories.

Women have decided to wear watches for more than two centuries, whether they have been tied to a chain or a brooch or have been listed on the wrist. He began, of course, as a functional way to say time. Then it became a full fashion accessory that could be simple or magnificent as desired.
From top to affordable, watches were the main piece on the wrists of many female joints until the last two decades, when the technology replaced the need, and it seems that women’s fashion has left watches behind. However, until then, the watches were a daily piece of jewelry-many are often, like their wedding rings, and also an investment that over time received a large return of costs on clothing. Often, women would wear the same hour for years, so why did the younger generations ever stop?

The era of the watches has hinted that they have been returning in the last few years, mostly for fashion reasons; But I feel that nostalgia and the idea of a timeless style also have something to do with it. The clock has always been a very personal object and has been an unwavering piece of wardrobe for years. My grandmother never stopped wearing her traditional clock, and it seems to me that I feel more to wear one instead of an alternative to the technical wit.
Although I can understand those who actually need to monitor their health through a fitness hour or have the goals that fitness watches help them in monitoring, they could be considered a compromise and invest in a traditional watch to be worn daily and book a fitness hour to monitor exercise.
Saps can last you for years and pay off your elegance, functionality and nostalgia for your mother’s jewelry box. I would say that is enough reason to think about withdrawing your fitness clock, at least sometimes.
